Winston Salem Foundation Scholarships
The Foundation offers scholarships for students according to varying criteria chosen by the donors who establish these funds. Some awards are one-time, while many are renewable for an additional three years. You can apply for most scholarships by completing the Foundation's one-stop scholarship application, while other scholarships utilize their own application process outside of the Foundation.
ONE-STOP SCHOLARSHIPS:
You can apply for most of the Foundation's scholarship opportunities by completing a one-stop application. After completing the application and providing supplemental materials, you will receive a list of scholarship opportunities for which you are eligible.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS?
Some scholarships are strictly merit-based, with importance placed on academic performance, extracurricular activities and/or community service. Other scholarships consider family income to varying degrees, and require a minimum GPA of 2.0. The number of years a student may repeat an application may be limited. Maximums are set on dollar amounts offered annually and cumulatively.
