The following scholarships are available to students that have a High School Diploma or GED. Please see each individual scholarship description for application information, deadlines, and materials.
Charles Womer Scholarship Fund
- Award: Variable, competitively renewable for total of 4 years.
- Eligibility: Previous recipients of the Charles Womer Scholarship that are currently attending Rogue Community College (RCC) or are transferring from RCC to a 4-year university. Must be enrolled in at least 2/3 courseload per term/semester.
- GPA: 2.5 and above for vocational programs, 3.0 and above for academic programs.
- Selection Criteria: Selection is based on current academic performance and progress towards long-term goals.
- Application: Complete the scholarship competitive renewal application form
- Deadline: April 30 of each year
Flaming Family Scholarship In Memory Of Lucy Flaming for RCC Students
Award: One $1,000 award
Eligibility: Applicant must have a GED or High School Diploma, and have been a resident of Jackson or Josephine Counties for a minimum of three years. Student must be enrolled at Rogue Community College.
Selection Criteria: Need, academic ability, character and citizenship, involvement in extra-curricular activities and/or work experience.
Use of Funds: Scholarship checks are mailed directly to the recipients’ college or university for payment of tuition and fees. Award may also be used for books and needed school supplies upon presentation of receipts to Redwood Foundation for Education for reimbursement.
Application: Fill out the PDF application.
Deadline: Applications must be received by August 1st of each year.

Josephine County Home Builders Association Scholarship
- Award: Up to $2,500; competitively renewable for 4 years.
- Eligibility: Applicant must have a GED or High School Diploma, and have been a resident of Josephine County for a minimum of three years.
- GPA: 2.0 and above
- Selection Criteria: Career goals, academic achievement, employment history, and financial need will be considered.
- Use of Funds: Scholarship may be used to gain degree, certification or licensure in a trade field (electrician, construction, plumbing, etc) that impacts the home building industry. Scholarship checks are mailed directly to the recipients’ college or program for payment of tuition and fees. Award may also be used for books, supplies, and pre-approved employment-related expenses upon presentation of receipts/syllabus to Redwood for reimbursement.
- Renewal Process: Scholarship is competitively renewable on an annual basis. Renewal is based upon satisfactory progress in trade program/education. Contact Redwood for renewal application in July of each year
- Application: Fill out the PDF application.
- Deadline: Applications are accepted throughout the year, and will be reviewed Quarterly February 1st, May 1st, August 1st, and November 1st.

Chauvin-MacGuire Memorial Scholarship
- Award: $6,000
- Eligibility: Previous graduates of Illinois Valley High School.
- Selection Criteria: Academic potential, financial need, and resiliency are considered. Additional preference to students starting their education at a Community College, specifically RCC.
