In the same spirit that made him a legend, "Banana George" Blair continued to give back to water sports and the foundation throughout his life. George's family has created this scholarship to give student-athletes an opportunity to earn a college education while pursuing their water sports dreams. This scholarship is open to all water sports disciplines.

- Incoming Freshman through incoming Senior at a two (2) or four (4) year accredited college as a full-time student OR an accredited trade school.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be a current active member of USA WATER SKI & WAKE SPORTS: AWSA/ABC/AKA/NCWSA/NSSA/NWSRA/USA-AWSWS/USA-WB/USHA
- Award will be made to an undergraduate student and for no more than (3) academic years. Recipients must attend school for the full year during the year of receipt.
- Completed applications must be received by 11:59pm ET on April 1 of the award year.
- It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure the application is completed and signed, and official documentation, references, and essay/video link have been received by USA-WWF by the deadline. DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING!

All winners will be notified before July 15th of the award year.
- Fill out the online application completely.
- Complete essay or video addressing the essay question.
- Provide two (2) current recommendation letters with the application.
- Provide documentation of classes/courses taken with grades and GPA in form of a transcript or grade report. Documentation must either show work in progress or that the student is currently a full-time student in good standing. If applicant will be a college freshman, include documentation from high school and proof of college enrollment.
