Bilingual Scholarship

Scholarship Value: $1,000
Awards Available: 1

As immigration and personal injury attorneys, we at Abogados Centro Legal believe in defending the rights of minorities, especially those within the Hispanic and Latino communities. As a growing number of the United States population is learning a second language, our attorneys want to recognize those who have overcome adversity and the challenges to learn to fully speak a second language, or become bilingual. That is why we are proud to announce our 2021 Bilingual Scholarship! This scholarship is intended to contribute $1,000 to the education of one English-Spanish speaking student, and to help them achieve their academic goals.

This scholarship is open to all English-Spanish bilingual students who are pursuing a postsecondary education. We believe that family heritage is a special part of our identity, and we want students to share with us their family history and how being bilingual has helped them in the United States. We understand the difficulties individuals face when first learning a new language, and we want to know if you faced any language barriers or other challenges while learning your second language.

Scholarship Eligibility:

To be eligible for the 2021 Bilingual Scholarship, students must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program within the United States. High school seniors who will be enrolled in college before the application deadline of November 30, 2021 are also encouraged to apply. Candidates for this scholarship must have a minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Scholarship Requirements:
