The Oshawa trails offer its citizens and visitors an opportunity to see the beauty of Oshawa's culture, natural resources and parks. The museum provides a first-hand look at military hardware, tanks, photos, scout cars, letters, medals, certificates and different military memorabilia from WWII.
Oshawa Fiesta Week is a yearly, week-long celebration which happens each June. The Festival displays a fabulous parade, providing cultural entertainment and ethnic cuisine. This festive event is organized by the Oshawa Folk Arts Council, and it brings community pride and camaraderie to everyone. The Purple Woods Maple Festival, a 17-hectare open meadow and sugar maple forest is located on the Oak Ridges Moraine. This particular festival takes place each and every March.
