The Oakville Arts Council is the main promoter of Oakville City's arts and culture. The Council is a charitable non-for-profit umbrella group which represents different creative and artistic members from the Oakville arts community. It likewise publishes Arts About Town, the only magazine which is solely dedicated to arts matters and local artists. Oakville is home to numerous exhibits, art galleries and studios.
