Milton City is part of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) in Ontario Province. Part of the Halton region, Milton is a thriving town next to the Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO world biosphere reserve. Milton is only minutes away from the world-renowned Bruce Trail.

Steam-Era features 19th century steam engines demonstrations and tractors, stationary engines and antique cars displays. Agricultural displays show rural life as it was lived a century ago.
Another popular event is the traditional fall fair held yearly during the end of September and featuring an agricultural show, demolition derby, livestock, midway, entertainment and more. The Milton Fall Fair dates back at least 60 years. The Milton Fairgrounds are situated within the historic downtown core.
There's no need to wait for the fall fair so as to enjoy the fruits of local agriculture. Each and every Saturday morning, starting from May to October, a section of Main Street is closed off to permit area farmers to set up shop at the Milton Farmers' Market. Fresh produce, crafts and flowers are sold at the market.
