Grimsby is a town in the Niagara Region of the province of Ontario, Canada. Nestled between Lake Ontario and the Niagara escarpment, Grimsby attracts visitors who are interested in hiking the magnificent Bruce Trail. The town is included in the Hamilton Census Metropolitan Area.

There are a number of local attractions within the town of Grimsby. The history buffs would be drawn to the Grimsby Museum and the Danish Church. Grimsby has a Public Library and Art Gallery. The public skatepark is enjoyed by the children. Sports teams consist of the Grimsby Peach Kings. The town of Grimsby is also the West Niagara YMCA's new home.

The town of Grimsby is situated midway between Hamilton and St. Catharines, and has still been quickly expanding over the past 10 years. The natural boundaries of Lake Ontario and the Niagara Escarpment do however place a restriction on urban development. The municipality's Greenbelt Plan has frozen Grimsby's urban boundaries permanently. Though houses replaced most of the orchards in the town of Grimsby from the 1950s to the 1980s, some orchards remain.
