The biggest and most densely inhabited city in the State of Ohio is Cleveland and is the seat of Cuyahoga County. Greater Cleveland is the biggest center and metropolitan area in the state of Ohio. The cities residents are often known as "Clevelanders." Several nicknames for the city include: "C-Town", "Plum City", "The Rock n Roll Capital", "Sixth City", "The Cleve", and "The Forest City.".

The city is likewise home to the known African American performing arts centre: Karamu House and Cleveland Play House (established in the 1920's). For music lovers, there are Cleveland Orchestra (considered among the best orchestras in the world and amongst the "Big Five" major orchestras in the US) and Cleveland Pops Orchestra. For art museums, there is the Cleveland Museum of Art (it has a collection of 40,000 works of ancient and contemporary masterpieces) and the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland (offers works from established and emerging artists particularly in the Cleveland area).

There are various great outdoor areas located around Cleveland. Lake Erie, that is among the five Great Lakes, provides the numerous residents and visitors a place to do some sport fishing. In the lake there are numerous species of fish in abundance like for example perch, walleye and bass. This is also a great place to do some canoeing, jet skiing, parasailing, scuba diving, swimming, kayaking and boating.
