The biggest and most densely inhabited city in the State of Ohio is Cleveland and is the seat of Cuyahoga County. Greater Cleveland is the biggest center and metropolitan area in the state of Ohio. The cities residents are often known as "Clevelanders." Several nicknames for the city include: "C-Town", "Plum City", "The Rock n Roll Capital", "Sixth City", "The Cleve", and "The Forest City.".

The second biggest performance arts center within the US, called the Playhouse Square Center. This is a great place where those who like to be entertained could visit. The Great Lakes Theater Festival and the Theater District of Downtown Cleveland are some of the resident performing arts companies. The city is likewise home to the known African American performing arts centre: Karamu House and Cleveland Play House (established in the 1920's). For music lovers, there are Cleveland Orchestra (considered among the best orchestras in the world and amongst the "Big Five" major orchestras in the US) and Cleveland Pops Orchestra.
