Lakewood is a city within Cuyahoga county, in the state of Ohio. It is part of the Greater Cleveland Metropolitan Area and is five miles west of the city of Cleveland. The city is bordered by Lake Erie. Lakewood City is densely populated with a few distinct communities. Clifton Park is known as the wealthiest part of the city.
