Interior Systems Mechanic
The Interior Systems Mechanic Program will teach a student how to install walls and ceilings, which play an important role in the construction industry, particularly in commercial, high-rise and residential buildings.
Interior Systems Mechanic students learn how to handle, erect and apply materials that are component parts in the construction of ceilings and walls. They install support frameworks for ceiling systems, interior and exterior walls and building partitions to prepare for the installation of drywall or plaster walls and ceilings.
The Interior Systems Mechanic Program usually takes 4 years to complete. Approx. 300 hours of the 4 years involves in-class teaching.
