Youth Scholarship Process
The individual recommended for the scholarship awards should meet these criteria:
1. Any youth that has participated in any approved agricultural class and has been an active volunteer of the current year in his or her respective local county fair. The selection of these youths will be left to the discretion of the local fair.
The minimum criteria to apply for KSHA’s Steckol and Stanley Awards are:
A) Evidence of academic achievement at the doctoral, graduate and/or undergraduate level.
B) Transcript showing current GPA (no minimum required) and enrollment in a speech‐language pathology or audiology training program.
C) Financial need.
D) KSHA student membership.
E) Professional goals and philosophy.
F) Letters of Recommendation.
