Inez Smith Scholarship
The scholarship awarded will be in the amount of $1000.00. Funds will be issued thirty days after commencement of the program and proof of enrollment is issued to ANBLPN.
A) Applicant must be the son, daughter, grandchild or legal ward of a LPN Licensed in New Brunswick (active or inactive)
B) Applicant must indicate at which post secondary institute he/she is enrolled in and in which program or which program he/she plans on entering.
C) Applicant must be enrolled in a full time program for a minimum of one year.
D) Applicant may apply for any year of enrollment at a post secondary institute.
E) Applicant may apply more then once but will only receive the scholarship once.
The Applicant will submit an essay of not more then 500 words based on:
A) Scholarship Achievement
B) Community Involvement
C) Past Achievements
D) Future Goals
E) Other Awards Received
The applicant will include with his/her easy a letter of recommendation from a teacher or community leader.
Evaluation of Applicant:
A) Awards Committee will evaluate each submission in March
B) Recipient will be notified and an announcement will be made at the Annual General Meeting in May and published in the fall Blue Band.
