If you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident studying full-time at a Canadian secondary school, you can apply for the university's Major Entrance Scholarships. These awards are given to applicants who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, and exceptional leadership and community involvement.
The recipient must:
A) Be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant.
B) Be in their final year of secondary school, entering their first undergraduate university degree.
C) Demonstrate personal leadership and excellence in extracurricular activities beyond academic requirements, and/or significant contributions to community or family.
D) Have earned minimum 85 per cent in best six 4U or 4M courses.
A) You must have applied to Ontario Tech University to be considered for this award.
B) Only one application is required to be considered for all five awards.
C) Make sure to apply for the appropriate scholarship in full-fill out all required sections of the application, and follow the instructions regarding formatting and maximum word length.
