RGD Student Awards
The Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario (RGD Ontario) will present eighteen $1,000 awards to students in recognition of their outstanding achievements and to encourage excellence in all areas of graphic design. In addition to the $18,000 in cash prizes, winners receive a special certificate and their work is profiled in Applied Arts and in a public, week-long exhibit in downtown Toronto. (All Honourable Mentions receive a certificate.)
To be eligible for this scholarship you must:
1. Be in his/her final year of a Canadian graphic design program.
2. Be a current member of RGD Ontario or the GDC. If an applicant is not a member, he/she may submit a membership application form with payment with the submission. (Students enrolled in schools with an automatic membership program may activate membership on-line at: rgdontario.com/students)
3. Have accumulated the required number of credits to graduate from the program as of October 1, 2009 (subject to verification)
4. Complete an ONLINE Entry Form and mail up to five samples of work.
