Scholarships: Eligibility & Applications

All applicants must:

  • Be a single mother.
    • Marital Status: You are a single mother, widowed, divorced, or separated (and your divorce is almost final).
    • Parenting Status: You have physical custody of your children, who are either under the age of 18 or over 18 and still attending high school. In certain cases, an exception may be made once the child(ren) has left the household.
    • Living Status: You are the only adult in the house with a child, or you live with your parents or relative(s).
  • A resident of Utah at the time of application (may attend online courses outside of Utah).
  • Be a graduate of an accredited high school or have equivalent GED.
  • Enrolled and accepted to a college, university (including graduate/doctoral programs), technical school, Bootcamp, or any education that will increase your earning potential to better provide for your family.
  • Demonstrate financial need for the scholarship and have realistic and attainable educational goals.
  • You have completed or are in the process of completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form. If you have attempted and do not qualify for FASFA, please let us know. You are still welcome to apply for the scholarship.

Applicants selected for the April 10th, 2026 scholarship are required to attend the Live Your Dream Golf Tournament at Sleepy Ridge Golf Course in Orem on Thursday, May 28th, to receive their award. Due to limited space, only scholarship recipients will be able to attend.
