ESCA (Exhibition Services & Contractors Association) is committed to advancing the exhibition, meeting, and special events industries. By promoting collaboration among all areas of the exhibition industry, ESCA encourages education, information exchange, and the shared professionalism of members and their customers. The ESCA scholarship fund demonstrates our dedication to business integrity, industry leadership, and the education of future leaders.

Each year, the ESCA scholarship fund awards several academic and need-based scholarships to industry members and their families, cultivating the next generation of leaders.

Diversity & Inclusion Scholarship Program

We are excited to announce the launch of the ESCA D&I Scholarship, a special initiative by the Diversity & Inclusion Committee of ESCA. In addition to the prestigious Dennis Hale Memorial Scholarships, three exceptional students will be awarded scholarships for their outstanding commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in their university and local communities. These scholarships are open to students sponsored by our esteemed university partners: UNLV, UCF Rosen College, and Delaware State University. If you are pursuing studies in a field related to the exhibition industry and are passionate about making a difference, we invite you to apply. The winners will receive a scholarship of $1,500.00 each and the opportunity to share their experiences and insights at the SEC conference. ESCA SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES

PURPOSE: The purpose of the ESCA Scholarship Fund is to assist families of industry members in their pursuit of a college/university-level education.

I. CRITERIA:

1. An applicant should be an exhibition or events industry member or an immediate family member to be considered eligible.
2. An applicant must be sponsored by an ESCA member, but need not be an ESCA member themselves.
3. An applicant must show evidence of acceptance or enrollment in an accredited 2 or 4-year college, university, or technical school.
4. All applications and backup documents are due by October 30th.

II. ENCLOSE WITH APPLICATION:

1. An applicant must submit an essay approximately 500 words long and should include the following:
   1. Why should the applicant receive an ESCA Scholarship?
   2. What are the applicant’s college/career goals?
2. Applicant must submit evidence of academic performance and potential, including high school transcript, SAT or ACT scores, and/or college GPA.

III. EVALUATION CRITERIA:

1. Applicant essay
2. Cumulative GPA, and evidence of academic motivation
3. Demonstration of leadership, extracurricular activities, community service, and work experience.
