The INKAS ‘’Rising Star’’ Scholarship is a prestigious scholarship program that aims to recognize outstanding post-secondary students pursuing degrees in engineering and business.
This initiative reflects INKAS’s commitment to encouraging the next generation who will shape the future. Applicants must submit an essay with the provided topic, which the INKAS® Scholarship Committee will evaluate based on its structure, clarity, creativity, relevance to INKAS®’s industry, and future vision.
One recipient from each of the indicated scholarships will be awarded $2,500.00 CAD, presented by our CEO, David Khazanski, and Chairwoman Margarita Simkin.
Engineering & Technology Scholarship
This is for students pursuing engineering studies who have a passion for the future of security, manufacturing, or the advancement of technology.

ELIGIBITITY
To qualify for the 2025 Rising Star Scholarship, applicants must:
1. Hold a minimum 75% average or equivalent GPA from the most recent term/semester.
2. Be currently enrolled or planning to enroll full-time in a Business or Engineering program at an accredited university in Canada or the U.S. for the 2025 academic year. Documentation required: recent unofficial transcript and acceptance letter (if applicable).
3. Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, or hold a valid study permit/student visa for Canada or the U.S. Documentation required: clear copy of ID or permit.
ESSAY SUBMISSION
As part of your application, you are required to submit an essay (maximum 750 words) related to the scholarship you are applying for, following the indicated topic below.
Engineering & Technology Applicants
Essay Topic: How can emerging technologies (such as AI, cybersecurity, materials science, or robotics) enhance security, efficiency, and innovation in the armored vehicle or defense industry? Provide specific applications and real-world examples.
Business, Finance & Law Applicants
Essay Topic: In today’s evolving global landscape, how can strategic leadership, ethical decision-making, and innovation drive sustainable growth and trust within the armored vehicle and security industries?
