Our scholarship award is in the amount of $1,000 plus a recognition article on our website outlining why we chose your essay so you can show it to future potential employers and outshine your competition!

Submission Deadline

We ask that all essays be submitted to our team by May 15th of 2022 to give us adequate time to review all submissions and distribute the scholarship in time to pay tuition fees for the fall of 2022 school year.

For School Year

This year's scholarship will be awarded to help with Fall of 2022 tuition fees.

Distribution Of Funds

This year's scholarship will be awarded by July 15th of 2022 so you can pay your 2022 fall tuition on time.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for this scholarship, you must be currently enrolled in law school in the United States with the intent of specializing in personal injury law when you graduate.

Essay Guidelines

We ask that you write an essay of 1000 words or less briefly examining the current state of personal injury law and what could be changed to make the process of recovering damages from the negligent party easier on the injured parties. We are looking for creative and useful ideas that could help real world injury victims, so think about it for a while and give us your best answer! All submissions will be judged on the real world practicality of the idea presented.

How To Submit Your Essay For Consideration

To submit your essay for consideration, please copy and paste your essay into an email along with your name, email and phone number and send it to Carrie@rectorlawfirm.com with the subject line "2022 Scholarship Submission". Essays submitted as an attached file will not be opened due to secuirty risks, so please copy and paste your essay text into the email and we will read through them individually. Please do not reach out to us to check on the status of your submission, we will go through all submissions after the deadline has been reached and make our decision from there. If you are selected as the winner, we will verify that you are currently enrolled in law school and check with your school to make sure you are enrolled in the fall of 2022 school year.
