Since 2012, Semper Solaris has been helping homeowners in California lower their energy bills with Solar Panels + Battery Storage, Roofing, Heating & Air.

Now in 2023, our focus has been set on investing in exceptional high school and college students who are dedicated to helping our planet by using alternative energy.

COLLEGE APPLICANTS

Applicant must be a current freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, graduate student, or attending a military academy.

Applicants must have a cumulative college grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4-point scale, and be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university between May 1, 2022 and May 31, 2023.

For College Applicants we’ll accept proof of your enrollment in the form of a college transcript, class schedule, or a letter from your institution. Your document should be in a non-editable format such as PDF, JPEG, PNG or JPG. We don’t accept 1-20 forms as proof of scholarship, acceptance letters, or deposit emails.

Applicants attending military academies are eligible for this scholarship.

Essay Topic

Please answer the following question with at least 1,000 words: “How can solar and renewable energy help local communities?”

Judges will look for writing that is clear, articulate, and logically organized.

Response must be at least 1000 words in length.

HIGH SCHOOL APPLICANTS

Applicant must be a current senior high school student.

Applicants must have a cumulative high school grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4-point scale, and be enrolled full-time at an accredited high school between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023.

For High School Applicants we’ll accept proof of your enrollment in the form of a class schedule, letter from your institution or photo of your high school ID with a valid expiration date. Your document should be in a non-editable format such as PDF, JPEG, PNG or JPG.

Applicants attending military academies are eligible for this scholarship.

Essay Topic

Please submit 750+ words about “How do you see Solar Power changing our country in the future?”.

Essays will be judged on whether the student is able to argue for and justify his or her ideas on renewable energy.

Judges will look for writing that is clear, articulate, and logically organized.

Essay must be 750 words in length.
