At Nelson Elder Care Law we have a great appreciation for those who put others first and care for those who are unable to functionally care for themselves. As the population of aging adults continues to rise, the responsibility and role of a caregiver falls onto younger adults. As Elder Law attorneys, we understand the demanding lifestyle a student caregiver may face trying to balance caring for others while maintaining their studies. That is why we are proud to sponsor our Student Caregiver Scholarship for the 2021 school year!
The Student Caregiver Scholarship's purpose is to award one compassionate student who spends their time helping elderly adults. This scholarship is open to those who volunteer with seniors either at a long-term care facility or nursing home, those who take care of an elderly family member, or those who help the aging in another way. We want to hear why you chose to help and care for the aging and how volunteering has shaped you.
