Welcome to LifeSmarts! We encourage you to learn it, live it! LifeSmarts is a consumer literacy competition that gives students a chance to compete and excel -- while gaining the tools they need to succeed in today's marketplace as consumers. That means being prepared to make smart financial investments and good decisions and avoid the common traps and pitfalls that many consumers encounter in the real world.
By competing in the online competition, LifeSmarts teams have the opportunity to advance to live state and national competitions. Each April, teams from around the country gather in a major city for four days of exciting competition, and a national LifeSmarts champion is crowned.
Each month from September through February, teams are asked 100 multiple-choice questions. Prizes are awarded each month to the top-scoring Varsity, JV, 4-H Varsity, FBLA, FCCLA, HOSA, and SkillsUSA teams (one prize per year, per school or organization).

TeamSmarts quizzes allow teams to compete for:
A) Prizes in the monthly TeamSmarts Challenge from September through February. Every month, the first place JV, Varsity, FBLA, FCCLA, 4-H Varsity, HOSA, and SkillsUSA team each receives a $100 award for their team!
B) Points for their state tournament (in some states)
C) The state title in states with online-only competition
