NPG, a national membership organization devoted to population issues, invites students to compete in our Poster Scholarship Contest.
Entries must be received by 5:00 PM EST on June 15, 2020. Those received after the deadline will NOT be accepted.
Eligibility and Requirements
A) Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident.
B) Applicant must be a senior in high school or a college freshman, sophomore, or junior enrolled in an official undergraduate program of study for the Fall 2020 semester. Applicant must be 14 years old or older.
C) Applicant must be enrolled in or attending an accredited school within the United States, or operated overseas by the U.S. government, for the Fall 2020 semester. All scholarships will be paid directly to the accredited college or university account of the winning students.
D) Contest theme is TOO MANY PEOPLE. All art must include the statement TOO MANY PEOPLE and illustrate the idea that they will have a negative impact on our future. (See accompanying information.)
E) Posters must focus on overpopulation of the United States – not the world.
F) All creative work reflected in the artwork must be the original work of the applicant.
G) Artworks cannot have any company logos, trademarks, photographs, or otherwise display copyrighted content which does not belong to the applicant.
H) Applicants may submit separate artwork entries for each submission type (handmade or digital).
