The Greater Lynchburg Community Foundation is proud to assist deserving students in our area in obtaining financial assistance to further their education.

We offer dozens of donor-funded scholarships that grant income annually for this purpose.

Students, please review our list of scholarship funds to see if you are eligible for any of our scholarships. Contact your guidance department to apply for a specific scholarship.

Each scholarship fund has its own selection committee that works in determining the final grantee. If you are a member of a selection committee, please click here for more information.

Provides scholarships for area students seeking higher education in health care-related fields that support MSK health

Bedford County Scholarship Fund  

Provides scholarships for seniors graduating from Bedford County high schools

Beth Johnson Boatner Scholarship Fund  

Provides scholarships for  E. C. Glass High School seniors

Jane Barringer Bowen Educational Fund

Provides scholarships for E.C. Glass High School seniors who pursue studies in Theatre Arts or English
