Georgia Hospital Association Scholarships

Scholarship Value: $2,500
Awards Available: 4

The Georgia Hospital Association (GHA) is committed to supporting educational scholarships that contribute to the development of a qualified health care workforce. The Marjorie G. Hogan Memorial Scholarship Program, funded by an endowment, awards five health care scholarships annually. One scholarship is for hospital youth volunteers and the other four scholarships are for individuals pursing their BSN.

The scholarship funds were made available by a bequest in honor of Marjorie G. Hogan by her late husband, Glenn Hogan, a former GHA president.

1) Hospital Youth Volunteer Scholarship

The youth volunteer scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating high school senior who has volunteered in a GHA member hospital. To be eligible for the scholarship the individual must also be attending a Georgia college and pursing a degree in health care.
