The purpose of the Susan Howard Community Service Award is to honor and reward academically adept students from low income families in Texas or Great Britain who have demonstrated initiative and leadership skills through their dedication to benefiting their community.
Susan Howard, President of BAFTX for 9 years, ran the organization until 2017 with passion and dedication, growing it to be a great success. Our Susan Howard Community Service Award was set up in her memory, to award those who, like her, champion and support their community.
