This scholarship was established in May 1987 by the Amarillo Handgunners Club, Inc. to provide financial aid to a deserving student engaged in or sincerely interested in a shooting sport or activity. The scholarship is named in memory of Bill Goodson, a stalwart pioneer of the club.

Eligibility

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior from the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas Panhandle; and

Be engaged in or sincerely interested in a shooting sport or activity.
