To help ensure the continued success and development of future energy efficiency professionals in Iowa, and in keeping with IAEE's mission "To promote the Art and Science of Energy Efficiency," a student scholarship has been created to assist students in pursuing an education related to energy efficiency.
IAEE will award up to 2 - $1,000 scholarships to individuals.*
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
A) Have a High School diploma or GED at the time of application
B) Be a student pursuing a degree which supports the mission of IAEE
C) Currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution in Iowa
D) Completed a minimum of one semester/trimester of post-secondary education
E) Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
F) Committed to pursuing a career in the energy efficiency industry
G) Students may be awarded more than one scholarship over multiple years, but no student will be awarded more than $2,000.00 total. A student must reapply to be considered in subsequent years
Not eligible are:
A) Individuals pursuing post-graduate degree
B) Individuals who have previously received a total of $2,000.00 in IAEE scholarship funding
C) Students graduating prior to the fall semester of the year the scholarship is awarded
