Filipino Women's League Scholarship
Eligibility
The applicant, male or female, must be:
1. Of Filipino ancestry;
2. A current Hawaii high school student with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher.
3. Enrolling as a full-time student at an institution of higher learning in the state of Hawaii.
Note: Relatives of members of the Filipino Women’s League are ineligible to apply for this scholarship.
Scholarships
The number of scholarships and award amounts available under this program are determined annually by the Filipino Women’s League.
The scholarship will provide for partial tuition payment to an institution of higher education in the State of Hawaii for the first and second semester. Payment will be made directly to the financial aid office to coincide with the academic semester pending verification of registration (and for the second semester, pending first semester GPA of 2.5 or higher). In the event of a full tuition waiver, the scholarship must be forfeited.
