The IPAS Annual Scholarships are awarded to deserving students presently enrolled in an approved in-state Physician Assistant Program. Four students shall receive $1,000 scholarships based on certain selection criteria.

Iowa Physician Assistant Society Scholarship
The following criteria are used to evaluate each applicant's package. A total point system is used to award the scholarships after the applications have been reviewed by the Scholarship Committee.
A) Applicants must be currently enrolled in an approved in-state Physician Assistant Program.
B) Applicants must have achieved an outstanding academic record as an undergraduate.
C) Applicants must demonstrate strong leadership capacity, a thorough understanding of the Physician Assistant concept, and show overall professionalism.
Student applications must include the following:
A) Completed scholarship application
B) Photocopy of official transcript(s) from his or her previous college/university.
C) A one-page narrative adding anything the student feels will aid the committee's decision.
