Annually PRSSA and the PRSA Foundation offer many individual scholarships to help enhance your education. Whether through your academic achievement, diversity, professional ambition or desire to attend a National event, PRSSA provides the recognition and funding you’ve earned.

Academic Achievement Scholarships
Robin M. Urbanski Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is designed to honor a student entering his or her junior or senior year at a four-year accredited institution for his/her mentoring of others and his/her commitment to public relations.

Ofield Dukes Multicultural Student Award. If you are a public relations junior of African-American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, Asian, Native American, Alaskan Native or Pacific Islander ancestry, consider applying for the Ofield Dukes Multicultural Student Award. This award recognizes young men and women for outstanding academic achievement.

Neumeier Family Leadership Award. Open to all graduate and undergraduate PRSSA members, the Neumeier Family Leadership Award, recognizes a student who has demonstrated an outstanding record of effective leadership in PRSSA, the campus and/or the community.

Chester Burger Scholarship for Excellence. If you will be a graduate student studying public relations, journalism or a related field this fall with a minimum 3.0 undergraduate grade point average on a 4.0 scale, you are a candidate for the Chester Burger Scholarship for Excellence.

Ron Culp Scholarship for Mentorship. If you will be a public relations senior this fall, consider applying for the Ron Culp Scholarship for Mentorship, a scholarship that honors a student for their mentoring of others.

Lawrence G. Foster Award. Open to all PRSSA members, the Lawrence G. Foster Award for Excellence in Public Relations recognizes a student who demonstrates outstanding potential as a future public relations professional.

John D. Graham Scholarship. If you will be a public relations senior this fall, you are a candidate for the John D. Graham Scholarship. Winners are selected based on their academic achievement, leadership, practical experience and overall commitment to public relations.

Stephen D. Pisinski Memorial Scholarship. If you are a junior or senior, consider applying for the Stephen D. Pisinski Memorial Scholarship, an award given each year to a deserving student with a major in public relations, journalism or communications.

Betsy Plank/PRSSA Scholarships. If you are a public relations junior and senior, consider applying for the Betsy Plank/PRSSA Scholarship, an award that honors three outstanding students.

PRSA Diversity Multicultural Scholarship. If you are a talented communications student of African-American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, Asian, Native American, Alaskan Native or Pacific Islander ancestry with a minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 point scale, you are a candidate for the PRSA Diversity Multicultural Scholarship.

Marcia Silverman Minority Student Award. Recognizes a minority student heading into his or her senior year who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement as well as a commitment to public relations.

Gary Yoshimura Scholarship. If you need financial assistance to complete your education in public relations, apply for the Gary Yoshimura Scholarship. The award is given to students needing outside help to finish school.

LAGRANT Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship. If you are an African American/Black, Asian American/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino or Native American/American Indian undergraduate student.
