The John T. and Julia A. Spellman Scholarship Fund was established to provide academic scholarships to worthy, needy, and ambitious high school seniors residing in Summit County who desire a college education. The scholarships are reviewed on an annual basis by the Spellman Advisory Committee and awarded by the ACF Board of Trustees.
IMPORTANT: In order for your application to be considered, all of the following must be submitted and received by Akron Community Foundation, 345 West Cedar Street, Akron, Ohio 44307-2407, on or before April 15. Incomplete application or failure to provide transcripts or recommendations will disqualify your application. Scholarship awards are final, and there will be no reconsideration.
