Kim Wilkerson Memorial Scholarship
Kim was a graduate of Broomfield High School, class of 1974. She returned to BHS as a math teacher in 1993 and committed herself completely to educating math students, at all levels, until her untimely death in 1999. She was also active in many extracurricular student activities because she believed supporting her students outside the classroom was as important as supporting them inside.
The combination of her passion for mathematics and her love for teaching math to anyone who wanted to learn it is the legacy for which this scholarship was created.
Candidates for this scholarship do not have to demonstrate intent to continue in the field of mathematics in post graduate study, but must attend an institution of higher learning.
