The University of Arkansas also offers a number of prestigious fellowships available through the Honors College. All freshman scholarships support undergraduate programs only. Most scholarships require recipients to be U.S. citizens, legal residents of the United States, or foreign nationals permitted to pursue a course of study in the United States.
A) Annual award up to $3500 per year
B) Renewable for 4 years (5 years for Architecture and MAT students) with 30 hours per year and 3.00 GPA
C) Awarded to students from underrepresented communities who have demonstrated outstanding academic leadership qualities and potential. Members of underrepresented communities include but are not limited to: students from underrepresented ethnic or minority groups, students with interest in a field that does not typically attract members of their ethnicity or gender, students who reside in an underrepresented county in Arkansas, and first-generation college students. Students selected as Razorback Bridge Scholars will also participate in a peer and faculty mentoring program. Razorback Bridge Scholars will have opportunities to get involved in leadership activities on campus.
