The Grand Chapter of California, each year provides scholarship awards to:
- Graduating High School students; continuing undergraduate and graduate students in an accredited college, university, community college, trade school, or religious institution.
- Applicant must be a United States Citizen and California resident.
- Applicant must have a minimum cumulative unweighted 3.0 GPA
- Demonstrate a financial need.
- Strong high school and/or community leadership record.
- If applying for the Eastern Star Training Award for Religious Training (ESTRAL) scholarship, the applicant must be entering a theological college or seminary.
The Scholarship Fund provides scholarships in amounts ranging from $500 to $5000 for students attending a four-year college or university and $250 to $1000 for students attending a community college or vocational schools.
Scholarships are based on scholastic record, character, need, and the purpose and need for higher education. The different scholarships that we offer are described below. If you know of anyone interested in receiving a scholarship, please encourage them to fill out our application, which is available on this Web site. All applications must be received by March 15, 2024 to be considered.
