Dairy Production Technician

A Dairy Production Technician Program will teach a student how to operate and maintain farm equipment that sustains farm sanitation, herd health and breeding; feeds the dairy herd, milks cows, and cares for calves. A typical Dairy Production Technician Program can last 2 years.

Upon graduation, a Dairy Production Technician will be expected to fully understand the process of caring, maintaining, and raising cattle. A graduate will also be well versed in the breeding of cattle and know how this can effect the quality of each product.
