THE QUETICO FOUNDATION

In 1991, the Foundation established bursaries in memory of the late Quetico Park Naturalist, Shan Walshe. The awards are made to a graduating student from the Atikokan and/or the Lac La Croix high schools. The students must be accepted at a post secondary education school for studies in environmental, biological or related disciplines and have demonstrated leadership qualities.
