About The King's University College - UWO

Campus: Facilities, Residence and Location

The university is a Catholic institution, so it gives great importance to personal values and social justice. Students who study here are also considered Western Ontario students, so they can access both of the school's resources as well. Students have the benefit of living inside the campus. King’s university has two residence buildings: The first option is The "Tower," which houses around 164 students, and are mostly occupied by first year students. The students can choose between single occupancy ($4,400) or double occupancy ($2,250). Students are also asked to choose which meal plan they want to have. Typically, these plans can range from $2,280 to $2,650. The second option for students may be the "Apartment." It can have up to 107 students, although before they can live there, they have to make sure that they have completed twenty four credits in the university.

London Information

London is a city in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. London is the seat of Middlesex County, at the forks of the non-navigable Thames River, approximately halfway between Toronto, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan. London's economy is dominated by locomotive and military vehicle production, insurance, and information technology.

London has a humid continental climate. Because of its location in the continent and proximity to the Great Lakes, London experiences very contrasting seasons. The summers are usually warm to hot and humid, while the winters are normally quite cold but with frequent thaws. London has the most thunderstorms of any area in Canada due to the lake breeze convergence.
