Corpus Christi is situated on the northeastern part of the University of British Columbia’s Vancouver campus. Some of their facilities are the Dr. John Micallef Library, café, student lounges, and classrooms, St. Mark’s chapel, administrative offices of the faculty members & advisors, and study spaces. Students have access to UBC campus and all its amenities, including the food retailers and outlets of the AMS Student Union Building. The College is only a five-minute walk to the two major bus loops found near UBC, so easy access to transportation throughout the lower mainland area is guaranteed to the students. Students are also given access to the UBC U-Pass Buss Pass. Residences are available on the campus, and students live at Carey Centre, a student residence hall situated directly across the College. The Centre serves hot lunches every Monday to Friday at affordable prices. Students also have the option to live in St. Andrew’s Hall.
There are many services available to students, and some of them include: orientation events, clubs, theatrical performances, Student Health Services, student advisors, choir, the UBC Bus Pass, Translink, West Coast Express, Library Services, Health and Dental Plan, Student Resources Centre, AMS Peer Tutoring, and many others.
All students enrolled at the College automatically become members of the Corpus Christi College Student Association. CCCSA is the voice of the student body, and it also plans events and activities for the students. Some of these activities include: Open Mic Nights, Dances, Theme Days, Movie Nights, Bowling Trips, Photo Rallies, Casino Nights, On Campus Parties, and Concerts.
Intramurals and Athletics are a good way to make friends and keep fit at the same time. CCC students can join the College’s strength and fitness classes, tournaments, dance classes, or sports competition. Every Christmas, CCC students get together with the staff and faculty to compete in a fun basketball game.
The College offers financial aid to the students. From awards and scholarships to international and domestic students, there will be available programs offered by the school that can help any student support their financial need.
