Campus: Facilities, Residence and Location

The College is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Tyndale has a big parking lot for the students to use. Those who don’t have any vehicle can readily use the public transit. A bus from the nearest stop to Tyndale takes less than ten minutes to get to Toronto’s subway system. From there, students can take advantage of the subway, the buses and other streetcars to take them everywhere in Toronto. Tyndale’s library is the William J. Horsey, and it contains a broad and diverse amount of resources for students to use. There are also many other libraries within the city, such as the Toronto Reference Library. Its gigantic collections of books, videos, electronic resources, and microfiches will help students in accessing more information for their varied research. Students who plan to explore Toronto can check out the Canadian National Exhibition (“The Ex”) and Wonderland. The “Ex” is held just before classes start, and its two-week event is filled with many food courts, shops, amusement park games and other famous air shows. The Wonderland is a paradise for park lovers. Located in the northern part of the city, it has all the latest rides and games which can certainly make a student’s stay in Toronto more fun. There are also plenty of food stands scattered around the park. Students who plan to go shopping near the campus can go to the Centrepoint Mall and Fairview Mall, or if they prefer a more adventurous form of shopping, can go to Eaton’s Centre in the heart of Toronto. For on campus housing, students can live in campus residence. Rooms are furnished with a twin size bunk bed, mattress cover, desk, and chair for each resident, and each room has one dresser, one bookshelf, a closet, sink, mirror, phone, and curtains on large windows.

Tyndale offers many resources to students. They include the Library, Bookstore, Faculty Advising, Writing Centre, Leadership Centre, Hudson Taylor Centre, TIM Centre, Tyndale Association of Spiritual Directors, Hospitality, and ChristianCareersCanada.com.

Academic Programs

Many degrees are offered by Tyndale. Some of these include: Business Administration, English, Human Services, History, Philosophy, Psychology, and Religious Studies.
BA Honours degrees are also available in these programs.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

Students can apply for entrance scholarships of Tyndale. Some of the available scholarships include: President’s Scholarships, Timothy Scholarship, and Children of Alumni Scholarship.
