The College is located in Lacombe, Alberta, an hour drive from the Edmonton International Airport and one and a half hour drive from the Calgary International Airport. It has an enrollment of around 400 students, with a teacher-to-student ratio of 1:8. The campus is also affiliated with Parkview Adventist Academy, La Sierra University Extended Campus Program (offers a Master of Arts degree from its own School of Education), Family Therapy Master’s Degree Program, and Loma Linda University’s Marital and Family Therapy Master’s Degree Program. Residence dorms are also offered by the College. Lakeview Hall houses men and women in one building. Its lobby has couches and tables, and students gather here to study or just spend time with their friends. Maple Hall is located across the campus from Lakeview Hall, and it is home to the upperclassmen.
The College offers the following services to students: COMPUTER SERVICES, DINING (CUC Dining Hall with a Snack Shop located on the floor below it), PE CENTRE (weight rooms, wall climbing, pool, outdoor ice rink), STUDENT EMPLOYMENT, STUDENT SUCCESS CENTRE (Tutoring, career planning, counselling, and testing), LIBRARY SERVICES, CAMPUS MINISTRIES (Campus Ministries is divided into five areas of ministry: service, evangelism, discipleship, worship and mission), FINANCIAL SERVICES, and TRANSPORTATION SHUTTLE SERVICES (transportation department offers services with two 7 passenger vans, one 14 passenger bus, and one 24 passenger buses).
Canadian University College offers student-athletes a chance to show their skill at competitive sports. They can choose to join the College’s Varsity Team or Intramural Sports. Varsity Teams compete in the Alberta Colleges Athletic League in Basketball and Volleyball, and the soccer teams compete in the Red Deer Indoor Soccer League. Intramural Sports are another option for students, and teams are organized to compete in the following sports: Basketball, Flag Football, Floor Hockey, Indoor Soccer, and Volleyball.
The College offers degree programs in: Adventure Based Counseling, Behavioural Science, Biology, Biology - Bio-Medical Track, Biology - Environmental Track, Business Administration, Business Administration - Accounting Track, Business Administration - Human Resource Track, Business Administration - International Business Track, Business Administration - Management Track, Education - Elementary, Education - Secondary, English, General Studies Art, General Studies Science, History, International Health and Wilderness Studies, Music, Outdoor Adventure Business Studies, Outward Pursuits, and Psychology, Religious Studies, Religious Studies - Adventure Based Youth Leadership, Religious Studies - Native Ministry Pre-Professional Track, Religious Studies - Pre-Professional Track, and Wellness Management.
There are available apartments and duplexes near the campus. The College advises students to check available house listings on the internet.
