Campus: Facilities, Residence and Location

Conestoga offers the following facilities inside the campus: Recreation Centre, Bookstore, Childcare Centres, Learning Commons (Writing help, Learning Skills, Peer Tutoring, and Peer Conversation Partners), Printing Services, Food Services, Waterloo Dining Room, ATS Centre [The eleven programs which consist of Electrical Engineering Technician, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology (Optional Co-op), Electrical Technician – Industrial, Electrician Construction & Maintenance (Apprenticeship), General Machinist (Apprenticeship), General Metal Machinist, Integrated Advanced Manufacturing Technologies (Co-op) (degree program), Mechanical Engineering Technology – Design and Analysis (Co-op), Mechanical Engineering Technology – Robotics and Automation (Co-op), and Mechanical Technician – Tool and Die/Tool Maker (Co-op) uses the ATS Engineering Complex], and the Woodworking Centre.

Conestoga also offers students on-campus accommodations. The Residence can house 525 students inside the building. It has Front Desk Services such as the Customer Service Representative to help the students. Also included here is the Cardio Lounge, the Movie Lounge, the Games Room (Pool table, Ping-pong table, Foosball table, Air hockey table, Jukebox, Pinball, Poker table, and Vending machines), Kitchen and Patio Lounge, Study Lounges, Laundry Room, Garbage/ Recycling, Photocopying/Fax, and Parking.

Student Services and Student Life

The College offers the following student services: Student Portal, Library, Bookstore, College Facilities, Computer Resources, eLearning, Disability Services, Counselling Services, Health Services, Learning Commons, Career Services and Advising, Co-op, Locker Selection, Residence Housing, Public Transit, Clubs and Organizations, CSI Student Association, College Media, Occupational Safety, and Security and Parking.

Students who want to become a student representative can join the following groups to make a difference at the campus: Conestoga’s United Way Committee, Women in Trades and Technology, Women's Resource Group, Student Academic Appeal Committee, and the Conestogas International Education Week Planning Committee. Or they may opt to join the following clubs: Running Club, Media Club, Mature Student Coffee Club, Fusion by Conestoga, Financial Planning Students Association, ECE Association, Conestoga Pride, Conestoga M.M.A (mixed martial arts), Conestoga LAN Association, Conestoga Connected, Conestoga Christian Fellowship, COBRA SAE Mini Baja, Amnesty International, and the 5,6,7 Club (Dance).

Off-Campus Living

Off campus housing is also available to students. Conestoga provides housing information through the website given by Conestoga in its Students Services site. Here, students will find many post listings, room profiles, and possible roommates to help them pay for their rent.

Kitchener Information

The City of Kitchener is a city in southwestern Ontario, Canada in the Saint Lawrence Lowlands. Within this part of Ontario, Kitchener is the largest city situated within the Grand River watershed. Just to the west of the city is Baden Hill, in Wilmot Township.

Kitchener's cultural highlights include CAFKA, The Open Ears Festival, Multicultural Festival, and Blues, Brews & Barbecues, all of which are free to the public. Kitchener is also home to venues such as Homer Watson House & Gallery, Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery, The Centre in the Square, and Theatre & Company. Live music by popular artists can be heard at venues such as the Centre in the Square and The Aud. The Kitchener Public Library is another community stalwart.
