Nebraska Paralegal Student Scholarships
The following criteria must be met in order to apply for award:
A) Applicant must be admitted to an accredited paralegal program at a University, College, Community College or Business College located in Nebraska.
B) Applicant must have completed one academic term, and be currently enrolled as a paralegal student.
Each applicant must complete the following procedures to apply for an award:
A) Each applicant shall submit a resume with current contact information;
B) Each applicant shall submit proof of acceptance to a Nebraska paralegal program, and an official transcript of grades earned in the program to date;
C) Each applicant shall provide one letter of recommendation from a program director, instructor, or employer. No family member of the applicant may submit a letter of recommendation for the applicant;
D) Each applicant shall provide an essay of at least one page in length that describes the applicant's education and career goals and how award funds will be used to help achieve goals (example - tuition; books, equipment);
E) A personal interview or additional documents may be required at the discretion of the Award Committee.
All required documentation is to be submitted together.
