JEWISH FEDERATION OF OMAHA MISSION

To build and sustain a strong and vibrant Omaha Jewish community and tosupport Jews in Israel and around the world.

For generations, our close-knit Jewish community has worked hard to carry out this mission. We stand on the shoulders of giants. Many who came before endowed financial assistance, scholarships, trips to Israel and much more. Their legacy offers a helping hand to Jewish Omaha and its youth.

HOW TO USE THIS GUIDE

We have tried here to catalogue Jewish Omaha’s available assistance. Start with the Table of Contents and read about the program that interests you.

Sometimes synagogues also help, so be sure to check out the “Synagogue Support page. Parents of younger children, be sure to read about the Passport to Israel program, page 6, where over time you can receive $4,000 in matching funds.

If you don’t see yourself in these pages, please reach out. One size rarely fits all, and often assistance is available. We are here to help. Please feel free to contact Diane Walker at (402) 334-6551 or dwalker@jewishomaha.org with questions.
