The purpose of the Alltricity Scholarship Foundation is to award scholarships to deserving and qualified students in engineering, business, information systems, plant, line or distribution technology, line worker or other curriculum related to the electric energy industry.

AWARDS

Awards will be made in two categories:

  • Alltricity Scholarship Foundation Scholarships. These scholarships are awarded in amounts ranging from $1,500-$3,000+.
  • Alltricity Scholarship Foundation Named Scholarships. These scholarships are provided by the Foundation in the name of the individual or corporate donor.

Eligibility

The applicant must be a current high school senior, high school graduate, or current university/college undergraduate (freshman, sophomore, junior or senior) student. In addition, you must fulfill ONE of the following:

1. Be pursuing or plan to pursue an electric industry position certificate  (lineman program, renewable energy certificate, etc.) and be able to provide information about the specific program you are or will attend and the accreditation status of the institution.

2. Be pursuing or plan to pursue an undergraduate degree with intent to pursue a career in the electric energy industry.

And, the applicant must:

1. Be a permanent U.S. resident.
2. Complete the online application in its entirety.

NOTICE: You should not apply for the scholarship if you are receiving more than 75% tuition reimbursement. Anyone receiving more than 75% tuition reimbursement is NOT ELIGIBLE to receive an Alltricity Scholarship Foundation Scholarship.

Note:  If awarded a scholarship, the recipient will be asked throughout the remaining years of college to periodically provide Alltricity Network with information including expected graduation date, expected degree, internships, and post-graduate employment.

How Recipients are Chosen

A Selection Committee of the Alltricity Scholarship Foundation reviews all applications and selects the recipients. The selection criteria are:

1. Goals and aspirations in the electric energy industry

2. Motivation to succeed

3. Service to community and school

4. Academic performance

There are THREE DIFFERENT Alltricity Scholarship Foundation Scholarship Applications.  Please be sure to read the descriptions below to find the correct application for you. Read below for more information. After you’ve determined the correct application, click here to begin your submission.

Note: Completing the incorrect application may affect your eligibility to be considered for a scholarship. If you are unsure which application to complete, please contact Kathryn Hail at khail@alltricitynetwork.org or (303) 865-5544 prior to beginning the application process.

Current High School Senior if you are currently a high school senior and will be enrolling in a 4-year/baccalaureate degree program for the 2026-2027 academic year, complete this application.  Current high school seniors planning to enroll in a certificate program, see “2026 Craft (Lineman/Operations) Program Scholarship” application below.

Current 4-Year/Baccalaureate Degree Student if you are currently enrolled as a freshman, sophomore or junior at a 4-year college/university, complete this application.  Previous scholarship winners should also use this application.

Craft (Lineman/Operations/Etc.) / Certificate Program Scholarship Application – If you are currently enrolled (or will be enrolling) in a craft program, complete this application. Also use this application if you are currently enrolled (or will be enrolling) in a certificate program. Please DO NOT use this application if you are currently enrolled (or will be enrolling) in a 2-Year college with the intention of transferring to a 4-Year college to complete your degree. Previous scholarship winners should also use this application.
