The Bill Eansor Award is named in memory of the late A.W. "Bill" Eansor '49, who had an outstanding record of leadership at the University of Windsor and who was active in the Alumni Association. This award is presented on the basis of leadership ability, community and school involvement, and academic standing.
One award of $10,000 ($2,500 x 4 years) will be made each year to an undergraduate student entering the University of Windsor in first year. This award is not tenable with other major awards. The applicant must first be accepted for admission to the University, be registered as a full-time student (four courses per semester towards an undergraduate degree) and have a minimum average of 80 percent.

All current students are encouraged to apply for in-course scholarships and bursaries for the 2025-26 academic year located on UWinsite Student using the Award Profile tile. - Applications open on August 15, 2025, for the fall and winter terms of the 2025-26 academic year and again in spring 2026 for the spring/inter/summer semesters. Please note that there are limited opportunities in the spring/inter/summer semesters.
- Award deadlines vary, so do not delay in applying to maximize your chances of receiving an award. There is no limit to the number of awards that a student can apply to.
Prospective Undergraduate (UG) Students and Incoming First Year UG Students for Fall 2026:
All prospective UG and first-year UG students for fall 2026 are encouraged to apply for Additional Entrance Scholarships from January 1, 2026, to April 30, 2026. Students do not need an offer of admission to apply. Once a student has activated their UWIN ID and gained access to the 'Applicant Home Page' in UWinsite Student, they will be able to begin their 2026-2027 applications.
