BCTA offers scholarship opportunities to children of member company owners and employees: the BCTA Motor Carrier Member Scholarship for motor carrier members and the BCTA Associate Member Scholarship for associate members.
A) Children of employees /owners of BCTA Motor Carrier or Associate Members.
B) Graduating from secondary school or have completed one or more years of post-secondary education.
C) Must be enrolled or enrolling full-time at an accredited Canadian College, University or Institute of Technology.
D) Minimum average grade achievement of 70% or equivalent letter or grade point average.
E) Member Company must be in good standing with respect to payment of current year's dues.
A) Completed application form.
B) Entering first year post-secondary – copy of official transcript for the final year of secondary school.
C) Entering second or higher years post-secondary - copy of official transcript of marks from previous year. (Must be a full time student as defined by Canada Revenue Agency)
D) Confirmation of acceptance/continued enrollment to accredited Canadian post–secondary institution.
E) 1 page outline of student's career goals.
F) 1 page outline of student's community involvement and/or extra-curricular activities.
