Saskatchewan School Boards Graduate Student Award
Each year the Saskatchewan School Boards Association offers up to two awards of $2,000 to graduate students. The Association offers these awards to recognize leadership in education and to advance informed decision making in education.
Application Information
Completing a graduate program at the masters or doctoral level requires a good deal of commitment! This accomplishment also demonstrates leadership and dedication to education.
Each year the Saskatchewan School Boards Association offers up to 2 awards of $2,000 to graduate students. The Saskatchewan School Boards Association offers these awards to recognize leadership in education and to advance informed decision making in education.
$2,000 shall be awarded to successful applicants. Approval of an Saskatchewan School Boards Association Graduate Award will be confirmed in writing. Disbursement of funds will ordinarily be allocated toward support of the project upon satisfactory fulfillment of the obligations of the signed agreement.
Decisions are made by a committee of the Saskatchewan School Boards Association Executive.
For Graduate Students … Applications are invited from individuals who have recently completed a doctoral dissertation, master's thesis or project in education. The applicant's study must contribute to advancing K-12 education in Saskatchewan.
Applications must be received before Sept. 1.
