All Undergraduate and Graduate full-time nursing students enrolled in a state-accredited undergraduate or graduate program with one or more years of school remaining, in the states of California or Nevada are eligible.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
In addition to proving financial need, applicants must:
- Show proof of being a legal U.S. Citizen or alien with U.S. permanent resident status/alien registration, free from any federal judgement, liens or existing service commitment and not overdue on a federal debt
- Provide proof of enrollment to a state accredited undergraduate or graduate nursing program located in California or Nevada
- Enrolled during the 2025-2026 academic school year, with one or more years left of school remaining
- Official School Transcripts
- Must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 and above
- Provide two (2) letters of recommendation (Nursing school professors/instructors)
APPLICATION PERIOD:
Application process opens September 1, 2025 and closes at 11.59 PM, November 30, 2025.
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT AND TERMS:
- A one time $5,000 Scholarship will be awarded to one (1) student in California and one (1) student in Nevada per academic school year.
- Payment will be made to the recipient's school and the funds will be applied to their student account. Scholarship will be used to offset the cost of tuition, academic fees, books, supplies and equipment required for the recipient's education.
- Contribute back the nursing community and the Bonnie Fang Foundation (BFF) as student ambassadors through volunteer work.
- BFF does not discriminate based on race, creed, sexual orientation, age or disability status. All applicants will be judged according to the merit of their submitted materials.
