By providing financial support to qualified legally blind Washington residents, Washington Council of the Blind:
- supports their personal growth and realization of educational goals
- increases the visibility of legally blind students on campuses
- promotes the development of future leaders in our communities

Did you know that WCB has awarded more than $117,000 to scholarship winners in just the last 5 years? Since 2019, thirty-two individuals have applied for and received scholarship awards. Since our scholarship endowment was created in 1999, WCB has been committed to supporting blind and low vision Washingtonians in their educational aspirations.

All legally blind individuals residing in Washington State who are attending college, university, or trade/vocational school in the fall of 2025 are eligible to apply for a scholarship. Complete the 2025 WCB Scholarship application online form before the June 15 deadline.
